Cyproheptadine 4 mg Tablets are used to relieve symptoms of allergies such as a runny nose, itching, watery eyes, and hives. They are also sometimes used as an appetite stimulant in certain conditions.

Cyproheptadine is an antihistamine medication. It blocks the action of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for inflammation, congestion, itching, and other allergic reactions. Due to constant increased energy intake and stimulation of growth hormone secretion, it stimulates the appetite too.
