Clobetasol 0.05% Ointment belongs to a group of medicines called steroids that work on skin infections and prevent further irritations.

Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream as a thin layer. Wash your hands after applying. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the cream in these areas.
Clobetasol is a steroid. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen, and itchy.
