Esomeprazole 20 mg EC Tablets belong to the class of drugs known as Proton pump inhibitor, which reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes. It treats gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), stomach ulcers, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (overproduction of acid due to a pancreatic tumour).
Treatment of acidity, gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux), and peptic ulcer disease.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it.
Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach, which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
