ERDOSTEINE contains a mucolytic agent (cough/sputum thinner). It works by modulating the sputum viscosity in the respiratory tract, making it more fluid and less thick, increasing the mucociliary rate and allowing mucus removal from the respiratory tract. This medication may have some common adverse effects, including epigastric pain, nausea, vomiting, taste changes, and heartburn.
