Acebrophylline 50 mg, Terbutalin 1.25 mg, Guaiphenesin 50 mg / 5 ml Syrup is a combination medicine used in the treatment of cough with mucus. It thins mucus in the nose, windpipe and lungs, making it easier to cough out. It also provides relief from a runny nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes.

Acebrophylline lowers the viscosity of the thick mucus and increases ciliary motility, making it easy for mucus to be moved. It facilitates bronchial muscles by increasing certain enzymes. Terbutaline works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widening airways. When the medicine is given in combination, it makes breathing easier and relieves the discomfort. Guaiphenesin increases respiratory tract fluid, reduces the viscosity of tenacious secretions, and acts as an expectorant.
