Clotrimazole 1% Mouth Paint is an antifungal medication. It treats fungal infections of the mouth. It kills fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane.
- Effectively treats oral thrush and fungal mouth infections
- Relieves soreness, redness, and irritation of the mouth lining
- Helps in clearing white patches and discomfort caused by Candida
- Promotes healing of mucosal surfaces for improved oral health
- Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
- For oral use only – do not swallow.
- Apply the paint gently with a clean applicator/cotton swab on the affected areas 3–4 times daily, preferably after meals.
- Avoid eating or drinking for at least 30 minutes after application.
Clotrimazole works by binding with the mucosa (the inner surface of the lips and cheeks) from where it is slowly released into the saliva. The fungal cell membranes are destroyed thereby killing the fungi.
