Cyclosporine 50 mg Capsules is used to prevent the body from rejecting a new organ after a liver, kidney, heart transplant, or bone marrow transplantation. It weakens the immune system so that your body does not attack the new organ. It is also used to treat nephrotic syndrome, severe rheumatoid arthritis, and psoriasis.
  • Prevents organ rejection in kidney, liver, and heart transplant patients
  • Treats autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis
  • Helps manage nephrotic syndrome by controlling the immune response
  • Reduces symptoms of chronic inflammatory conditions by suppressing overactive immunity
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole with water. Do not chew, crush, or break the capsule.
Cyclosporine works by suppressing the immune system to prevent the white blood cells from trying to get rid of the transplanted organ. Cyclosporine is also used to treat severe active rheumatoid arthritis in patients who have taken other medicines (eg, methotrexate) that did not work well
