Appetite stimulant
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use.
Cyproheptadine is an appetite stimulant. It works by reducing the effect of serotonin (a chemical messenger) in the hypothalamus, a part of the brain that regulates appetite. Tricholine citrate is a bile acid binding agent. It removes bile acids from the body. The liver then produces more bile acids using cholesterol; as a result, the level of cholesterol in the body is lowered.
