As directed by physician
Ivermectin stimulate release of GABA by presynaptic sites and increase GABA binding to postsynaptic receptors. This causes neuromuscular blockage. Avermectins also open chloride channels in membranes of the nervous system and further depress neuronal function. These actions cause paralysis and death of susceptible parasites.
