Omeprazole 20 mg & Domperidone 10 mg Tablets are a combination therapy used for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acid reflux, and peptic ulcer disease. They provide rapid relief from heartburn, acid regurgitation, and indigestion.
- Relieves heartburn, acid reflux, and indigestion
- Treats peptic ulcers and prevents ulcer recurrence
- Improves stomach emptying and reduces bloating or nausea
- Combines acid suppression (omeprazole) with enhanced gastric motility (domperidone) for effective symptom relief
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
- Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not chew, crush, or break.
- Usually taken 30–60 minutes before meals, once or twice daily as prescribed.
Omeprazole 20mg is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the production of stomach acid by inhibiting the proton pump in gastric parietal cells. Domperidone 30 mg: Domperidone is a dopamine antagonist that acts on the chemoreceptor trigger zone in the brain and the upper gastrointestinal tract to increase gastric emptying and reduce nausea and vomiting.
