Propranolol SR 40 mg & Flunarizine 10 mg Capsules (Pellets) is a combination medicine used for the prevention of migraines.
Prevention of Migraine
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it.
Propranolol and Flunarizine, which prevent migraine. Propranolol is a beta blocker, and Flunarizine is a calcium channel blocker. They work by stabilizing the reactive nerve cells and increasing the threshold to migraine activation. They also inhibit cortical spreading depression (CSD- electric waves that move across the brain and cause pain and inflammation).
